If you smell gas (similar to rotten eggs) or suspect a leak:
Leave the area immediately. Evacuate anyone in the home or building.
Avoid using electronics, lights, or phones. Even a small spark can ignite gas.
Turn off the propane supply valve on your tank if it’s safe to do so.
Call 911, then contact Virginia Propaneat 804-635-2805 as soon as possible.

We track your usage and schedule deliveries before your tank runs low. For customers on Will-Call Service, you’re responsible for monitoring your tank level and requesting a refill. Not sure which option you have? Just give us a call and we’ll be happy to help.
You can paint it, but there are important guidelines:
Use light, reflective colors only (white, silver, beige)—dark colors can cause overheating.
Never paint over tank valves, data plates, or warning labels.
If you lease your tank from Virginia Propane, please contact us before making any modifications.
